In the Kingdom of Blackwood, all are pawns in the Storm King’s wicked game.

Impoverished jewel-miner Alexis Ravenel is simply trying to survive when a chance encounter with a dying stranger grants her divine power over fire. This catches the attention of the wicked king, who hunts down and coerces those with power into serving him and strengthening his reign. He demands she marry one of his four handsome sons, and he warns that any failure to do so will be paid for by her loved ones in blood―starting with her mother.

As mandatory courting ensues, and unexpected desire flares with each prince, Alexis finds her choice has become impossible. Her heart craves all four Storm Princes, but if she’s to protect her mother and obey the king, she must marry only one.

Alexis, however, has another plan―persuading the Storm brothers to join her in taking down the evil king.
